Find Freedom
We believe that Jesus not only wants us to be saved, but that He wants us to be free. In the Old Testament when God delivered His people from bondage, they were set free, but the problem was they still had baggage that they needed to get rid of. Basically, they had gotten out of Egypt, but they needed to get Egypt out of them. Jesus said it this way in the New Testament.
“Then said Jesus to Those Jews who had believed on Him, if you continue in my word, then are you my disciples indeed and you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.”
We Can Help You Find Freedom
Jesus wants to not only save us from Hell, and save us for Eternity, but he wants to save us from ourselves, and sanctify us and set us free from the patterns, habits, and thoughts of our past that continue to bind us. He desires for us to be free indeed. We have two ways for helping you find freedom:
Connect Groups
C-Groups are where we turn a big church into a community. It’s where we get together with other people and ‘take off the mask’. Where we can be authentic and grow in relationship with Christ and each other.
Discipleship Groups
D-Groups are gender specific, closed groups of 3-5 believers who meet together weekly for the purpose of accelerated spiritual transformation.
Starting Point at Bridge Church
We Discover our Purpose at the Bridge Church, primarily through Starting Point. Starting Point is an event that happens for anyone who wants to move beyond simply attending and connecting meaningfully with the church. Starting Point is where you can move from “connected to the crowd” to “committed to the family.” Starting Point starts with a Sunday lunch with our staff where we share the core values and vision of The Bridge Church, and you get to discover your spiritual gift through a spiritual gift’s assessment. Starting Point finishes on the following Sunday where you’ll have the opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at how our ministries look and discover how you can use your gifts to play a part in what God is doing at The Bridge Church.
Starting Point is made up of four steps that equip you to:
- Learn about our vision and become a partner in it
- Connect with the Family
- Discover the strengths of your purposeful design
- Use your God-given gifts to make a difference in the lives of others
